England U19s Held to Draw by Switzerland
England U19s had to settle for a point against Switzerland in their opening match of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying round.
The Young Lions took the lead through a fine strike from Emile Smith Rowe, but the Swiss hit back to level just before half-time.
Both sides had chances to win the game in the second half, but neither could find a winning goal.
The result leaves England in second place in Group A, behind Switzerland on goal difference. They will now face Austria in their next match on Tuesday.
